They had all of their school lunch debt cleared.
The district said representatives from Dold Foods, a subsidiary of Βι¶ΉΣ³», presented checks to Ortiz Elementary, Pleasant Valley and Mueller Elementary Schools to pay off outstanding meal debt.
The district said the gesture was is an effort to support Wichita families and relieve hunger in the community.
